Coming Soon… West Goshen’s Sustainability Committee!

West Goshen is currently in the process of forming a Sustainability / Environmental Advisory Committee.  As a first step, the township is seeking members of an ad hoc committee to define the purpose and functions of the to-be-created committee.

Neighboring communities such as West Chester and East Goshen have similar committees that make recommendations or provide feedback on how incorporate environmentally-forward thinking and elements into development projects. (In other words, help the municipality ask developers to include thing like solar panels or green roofs on projects.)

Right now, volunteers are needed to serve on the ad hoc committee to create the future Sustainability Committee. The Board of Supervisors desires a wide range of individuals to participate on the ad hoc committee members, particularly those who have experience or education in Planning, Environmental Science or related fields.

Resumes can be emailed to Casey LaLonde, Township Manager via email or mailed to his attention at the Township Building (1025 Paoli Pike).
