The Woodlands at Greystone Construction Update: Construction commenced in August 2018 on The Woodlands at Greystone residential subdivision project. The project is situated on 433 acres between Pottstown Pike, Phoenixville Pike and the Rt. 322 Bypass.
The project received Final Plan Approval in 2016. Construction includes installation of all public infrastructure, including six miles of roads, many miles of sanitary sewer lines, two sanitary sewer pump stations and several bridges. Significant road improvements, paid for by the developer, are part of the project, including improvements to various intersections on Phoenixville Pike, the intersection of Phoenixville Pike and Rt. 322 Bypass and installation of traffic signals at various locations around the project. A “Collector Road” named Aram Avenue will connect Pottstown Pike with Phoenixville Pike.
The project will also produce a 162-acre public park for the enjoyment of West Goshen Township residents. The park includes six miles of trails in a wooded, passive environment with several trail heads with parking lots, including the main trail head with a 90-spot parking lot.
The project’s homebuilder is NVHomes and construction on the various home models will commence in May or June, 2019 with a four to six year build-out of the residences. Plans for this and all other subdivision projects currently underway may be viewed at the Township Building from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Shiloh Estates Residential Subdivision Project: A 13-lot single family residential subdivision project received Final Plan Approval by the Board of Supervisors in 2018 and is currently under construction. The project is located at 901 Little Shiloh Road, south of Westtown Road. The project’s developer and homebuilder is the Glenn M. White Land Company. The project site is the the former Nussbaumer farm. Construction is expected to take place over the next eighteen months.
