COVID-19 / Coronavirus Information

2019 Coronavirus (COVID-19) is a virus (more specifically, a coronavirus) identified as the cause of an outbreak of respiratory illness first detected in Wuhan, China.

Chinese health officials have reported tens of thousands of cases of COVID-19 in China, with the virus reportedly spreading from person-to-person in parts of that country.

COVID-19 illnesses, most of them associated with travel from Wuhan, also are being reported in a growing number of international locations, including the United States.

The Centers for Disease Control (CDC), the Pennsylvania Department of Health and the Chester County Health Department are the lead agencies providing guidance on COVID-19.

Chester County has established a website that is updated daily for COVID-19 information:  Chester County Health Department.

West Goshen Township will not be providing masks, hand sanitizer or any other supplies to Township residents.

It is highly recommended to frequently check the Chester County Health Department’s COVID-19 web page for updated information.
