Sergeant Richard Geiger proudly served his communities through emergency services for over 37 years which included 26 years with the West Goshen Police Department.

In July of 2013, Richie was diagnosed with glioblastoma multiforme, a highly malignant brain tumor.

He lost his battle with this terrible disease in July of 2014.

Proceeds from the race wiil benefit the Geiger Children Scholarship Fund and the Benefits The Darren Daulton Foundation, which provides financial assistance to those who suffer from brain cancer and brain tumors.
