The Chester County Solid Waste Authority will again offer Master Composter Classes to county residents. This FREE three-part class series is an opportunity for county residents to learn how to make their own nutrient-rich compost from kitchen and garden waste.
Participants will learn how to influence the key factors in composting (air, water, food, and temperature) and will have the opportunity to ask questions. The final session also includes a discussion on vermicomposting, which is your chance to come play with worms! This popular series is usually attended by approximately 50 people.
Participants who attend all three classes and perform six hours of volunteer service will receive a Master Composter Certification. Classes will meet on Thursdays in March from 6:30 – 8:30PM at the Chester County Library in Exton. Class dates are: March 5, March 12, and March 26.
